Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
Though I am not a born and bred Burdekin boy, I feel I can call myself one having married a local girl and raising my 2 daughters here.
I have quite a diverse working history. Being not afraid of hard work, I started off as a Tradie in Sydney and then moved North to work in the local building game for John Grady for many years. In 1980 my wife Merryl and I owned and operated "Ayr Camping World". We spent 16 years building up our clientele before I decided to take the plunge and sell real estate for McCathies. Now 12 years on and with the new Landmark Harcourts McCathies, everyday is different. I enjoy the challenge of the industry and I appreciate the interaction with clients whether buying or selling their most precious commodity and having experience in the building industry helps me to provide open, honest and relevant advice to my clients.
Any free time Merryl and I have we enjoy the odd bike ride, catching up with friends over coffee, travelling and spending time with our 2 daughters, Rebecca and Lauren, their husbands Mark and Evan and our grandchildren, Angus, Isla, Milla,Taylor and Keely.
